All Categories > FAQ - Ghost Radio for Android and FireOS > Where are the Recordings saved?
On devices running Android and AmazonOS files are saved to a directory named Recordings.

If you have a SD card, the Recordings directory can be found in the root path of the SD card, and if not, you will find it in the device storage root.

Another way to transfer the files (at least for reasonably small recordings), is by mailing them to yourself using the share function on the Recordings screen: http://exelerus.com/ostic/kb/faq.php?id=5

The file names always begin with the prefix "ghostradio_".

Recordings are never removed due to app upgrades or even if you uninstall the app. If you want to uninstall the app, and do not want to keep the recordings, ensure that you delete the files either by using the app itself or by using a 3rd party file explorer app.
